CrossFit Black Knight is an operated affiliate of CrossFit HQ (crossfit.com) and is owned and operated by husband and wife who are also both firefighters; Anthony Dannar and Elinda Dannar. We are a school….not just another gym to get your workout in. Why? Simple, it’s a place to learn and grow, to improve your body and your mind; to become knowledgeable in the mechanics, strengths and limitations of your own body. At CrossFit Black Knight, we require you to think, to use your brain as well as your muscles. This enables you to learn and challenge yourself, to try new things and accomplish things you never thought possible. We teach you how to move your body with proper mechanics, to get stronger and faster, to increase your power output, to increases your endurance and stamina, to get flexible, stable, be able to balance, and to move with grace and agility. CrossFit Black Knight is for anyone who is serious about becoming more fit, whether their goal is to live a longer healthier life, be better prepared for their job and life’s daily demands, or improve their athleticism. Our programs are designed to get you in the best shape of your life, under the guidance of our highly skilled coaches. No more wandering around the gym wondering what to do, endless hours running on a treadmill, or months of using the same machines without seeing real results. At CrossFit Black Knight you’ll be guided and coached every step of the way through unique and structured workouts that will get you fit, fast. As trainers, our goal is to provide an encouraging, supportive and intense atmosphere for you to become fit.

We run CrossFit Foundation Classes once a week in two 45 minute blocks every Saturday at 9:15am (Alternating session one and two each week). If you are unable to make the Saturday Foundation Classes and wish to schedule a private session at another time then please email for further details and we can arrange this for you. All new members will attend both sessions, these sessions are for you to get more 101 attention and detailed descriptions of the movements. We take the time to ensure that all of our members move brilliantly to help in our CrossFit classes. Every member completes our Foundations program which consists of movements in two sessions, Foundations 1 and Foundations 2, where we take you through all of the basic movements you will need to be competent at in order to enjoy and get the most out of the main classes.
CrossFit's fitness workouts consist of timed conditioning programs that are constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. These movements consist of sprinting, rope climbing, weight lifting, flipping tires, and an array of bodyweight exercises.

Let’s just assume for a moment that this famous six-time winner of the IronMan Triathlon is the fittest of the fit, then what title do we bestow on the decathlete Simon Poelman who also possesses incredible endurance and stamina, yet crushes Mr. Allen in any comparison that includes strength, power, speed, and coordination?
